1. Information we collect

This extension collects no personal information and no browsing information whatsoever. Specifically, none of the following is collected, recorded or transmitted:

URLs of pages you visit, or your browsing history
Page content or any text it contains
Your name, email address, IP address or any other personal data
Location data
Usage logs or analytics of any kind

No analytics services (traffic analysis, crash reporting) and no advertising are used.

2. Information stored on your device

The following is stored only on your own device, in the extension's storage area (chrome.storage.local). It is never sent to any server:

Your settings (destination subfolder, number of parallel downloads, how filenames are built, and so on)
Your paid licence key and its validation state

All of it is removed when you uninstall the extension.

In addition, to mark PDFs you have saved before as "Saved", the extension compares the PDF URLs found on the page with your browser's own download history. This comparison happens on your device; the history is not copied into the extension's storage and is never transmitted.

3. Outbound communication

The extension communicates with the outside world in exactly two situations.

(1) Licence validation
Only if you enter a paid licence key, that key is sent to the licence API of Lemon Squeezy, the payment provider, in order to verify it. Only the key you typed is transmitted; no browsing information is included. If you stay on the free version, this request never happens.

(2) Fetching PDF files
When you save the PDFs you selected — and when you enable "crawl linked pages" or "verify by Content-Type" — the extension makes requests only to the site you are currently viewing. This is the same kind of request your browser makes for an ordinary download. What is fetched is saved to your device and is never sent to anyone, including the developer.

4. Why each permission is needed

Permission	Purpose
`activeTab`	To find PDF links on the current page, only when you click the toolbar icon
`scripting`	To inject the detection script into the page you are viewing
`downloads`	To save the PDFs you selected, and to check your download history on your device for PDFs you already saved
`storage`	To keep your settings and licence state on your device
`api.lemonsqueezy.com`	To validate a paid licence key
Access to websites (optional)	To fetch pages when you use "crawl linked pages". This is not requested at install time; it is requested for a single site only, at the moment you use that feature

5. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell, transfer or share user data with third parties.

6. Children's privacy

This extension is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the date above. Significant changes will also be noted in the extension's update information.
